The Company:

My client is a prominent and well respected medium sized general Practice. They have 4 Partners and 45 staff; spread over their general practice divisions as well as some specialist teams. Due to being well placed in the market and with continued growth they are currently looking at expanding there specialist schools/ academies audit teams with one or more audit staff. You will be reporting to the Audit Manager/ Partner and working in a team of 5 staff, when leading or assisting on a range of audits for their varied client base. These are newly created roles so can be tailored to suit your skills and experience.


The Role:

Dependent on your level of experience you will be either leading or assisting with a portfolio of schools/ academies clients with an average turnover of £5 mil up to £10 mil, this will include the planning and 1-2 day onsite visits, reviewing of the work as well as the accounts preparation for these clients. It’s a very hands on role so you will be working directly with the client and dealing with all quires.


The Candidate:

The ideal candidates will not only have a very good technical knowledge; they will also be very confident with dealing directly with clients and managing their own work load.


The role will suit an ambitious candidate looking for a strong audit career and lots of responsibility; in return the firm can offer great training and progression. 60% of the role will be onsite visits, although they are fairly local and the visits are usually 1-2 days so you will need to own your own transport. You must have at least 4-5 years current, audit and accounts general practice experience to be considering as a senior in the team, or 1-2 years for a trainee/ semi senior. The knowledge of Viztopia software would be an advantage.



Salary will be dependent of your level of skills and experience.
