This is no ordinary appointment.

With pre-planned changes at Partner level due to take affect in the next six months, a position has been created for a qualified manager (CA or CCA) to join the top tier of this medium size, Kent firm.

This practice is well established in the Kent community and has been expanding organically for literally decades. As they have expanded they have upgraded their systems (which are almost paperless), adapted to market changes and kept a keen eye on meeting or exceeding client expectations.

It is the view of the Partners that the person who fits this requirement will become a Partner themselves once they have become established within the business and demonstrated the following abilities:

• To build rapport and gain the trust and respect of internal and external contacts/clients.
• To provide a high level of technical competency to the practice, being seen as a valued reference point for other staff.
• To efficiently manage both the time of other staff and your own.
• To gain new business through recommendations, networking or other appropriate means.

You’ll be responsible for a portfolio of clients that will be tailored to match your experience. Broadly speaking clients will be of a medium size and be based predominantly within the South East across all manner of industries.

They conduct their own audits and do not have a specialist tax department. There is sufficient work that can be tailored to suit a taxation or audit bias. Currently they have around 12 – 15 audits and the larger clients are between £5m and £12m turnover.
