Reporting to the Operations Manager of Wealth Preservation Services you will be working without line-management responsibilities and yet liase very closely with internal and external associates from internal Partners to clients and other third parties.


The private client department is divided into specialist teams concentrating on different aspects of the work; Private capital, Estates, Trust and Asset Management (to include trust terminations, implementing epas and receiverships, registering epas, receivership applications, client support services) and the Partners team:

Main duties within this opportunity: 

• preparing documentation for client meetings as required
• ensuring provision of reports to client relationship partner
• regular use of the trust administration client management system – Solution 6 (subject to training)
• administration of trusts on a daily basis including trust terminations
• reporting according to pre-determined criteria to designated partners and trustees
• organising, keeping records of and handling receipts/payments to/from trust funds
• monitoring trust events (eg. coming of age of beneficiary) and ensuring correct follow-up
• client contact (shared with trust partner)
• accounts preparation using computed based accounting system
• various aspects of trust taxation
• general administration and integration of general management cases
• Undertaking annual or more frequent tasks according to a predetermined calendar
• Responsibility for training junior members when required

Requirements

Ideally you will have worked within a legal (preferably private client) environment and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in trust administration.

Remuneration and benefits

Standard working hours 0900 to 1715 Monday to Friday with 1.25 hours for lunch.  25 days holiday.  Other benefits will be available after a suitable qualifying period; a contributory pension scheme; subsidised private medical care; free permanent health insurance; free life assurance cover.  Remuneration will depend on your experience.
