The Company:

My client is one of the fastest growing firms in the region; they are looking for a Semi Senior and a Senior Accountant for their corporate services department in their Chelmsford office.

The Responsibilities:

You will be working with a wide variety of UK and international clients, including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. Your role will involve preparing statutory annual accounts, management accounts, auditing work, as well as working closely with your client base, planning and completing projects ready for review.

As a Senior you will also be required to assist other members of staff and review their work before passing this on for Partner review.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years practice experience and dependent to your application for a Semi Senior or Senior you will be studying towards ACCA or newly qualified ACCA or ACA.

My client will also consider candidates that have just finished AAT studies and looking to move on to ACCA. You will hold strong communication skills, good attention to detail, as well as enthusiasm and a positive approach to problem solving. You will also be required to have a working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Iris.
